For the Amiko Gelato ice cream shop in Barcelona, Masquespacio has mixed and matched tasty colours, surreal shapes, and the famed Miami Deco style. Exuberant vegetation takes over the space, creating a tropical oasis in the heart of Barcelona. Large plants throughout the corners thrive in a vibrant dialogue with harder materials such as ceramics and metal. Read more…

Natalie Dubrovska of Dubrovska Studio has created STAN, a yoga and barre studio in central Kyiv for people identifying as women. The Ukrainian word STAN means physical posture or state, as a feeling of yourself. “Nothing was available due to the war,” explains the designer. French cathedrals and pastries are behind the architecture and interior design of the French Kitsch III café by TOUCH Architect in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. Imperfect arches of different scales define the building’s volume. Furniture, decorations, and LED lights emphasise the imperfect arch curves within the tunnel space. Throughout the cafe, TOUCH Architect also placed decorative pink bulldogs, the symbol for the French Kitsch brand. Read more…
