Stockholm based NOTE Design Studio created Rise, a classic, elegant sofa with a strong Scandinavian imprint. Created for the Swedish brand Fogia, the sofa is composed by a quilted upholstered cushions that sit on top of a distinct base in ash wood that extends to become an integrated side table.

“The side table opens up and becomes a bridge between the piece of furniture and the rest of the room. A surface for a still life, a favorite book, plants or whatever you choose to have close at hand” Added the designers.

Rise sofa comes with or without arms, the collection includes also a coordinated footstool. The wrap-around back shields off a conversation in the sofa from an open floor plan in a typical office environment. Its soft and inviting shape has a natural place in a home environment as well.
