Design. Archipanic’s founder, Enrico Zilli, and ‘light-architect’ Lorenza Bressan explored Euroluce, the biennial lighting design exhibition of Milan’s Salone del Mobile, in search of ingenious collections, literally playing with light. Check out what we liked the most.

Race of Lights by Davide Groppi
Davide Groppi turns child’s play into a creative lighting experience with Race of Lights, an electric toy track that supplies power to miniature car lamps. You can arrange the track however you desire, and it becomes the base for your personalised lighting setup. The car lamps attach with magnets, enabling you to freely create ever-changing compositions.
Shhh! by Ingo Maurer
The late poet of light, Ingo Maurer, has always been fascinated by light bulbs. This year, the eponymous brand launched SHHH!, an ironic suspension lamp featuring “an ear defender headset that wraps a large lightbulb, as if to protect it against the ruckus of the world.” But there’s a trick: the true source of light is not the visible bulb but hidden inside the noise-proof headset. The light spreads through the bulb into the space, creating an evocative atmosphere.
Beautiful Mess by Marcantonio for Karman
Irreverent artist and designer Marcantonio has transformed the classic chandelier into a post-modern statement for Karman. The white central frame adorned with crystal rosettes and bobeches contrasts with random elements, such as a gas lamp, a vintage bedside lamp with a fabric shade, a flexible-arm lamp, and even a neon bar. This all-white Beautiful Mess presents a uniform appearance from afar, but up close, it unveils all its unique, outrageous characteristics… After all, who is normal up close?
Maap by Erwan Bouroullec for FLOS
Maap by Erwan Bouroullec is a large, lightweight luminous tapestry consisting of a sheet of Tyvek, a paper-like resistant material, that can be crumpled to create unique, organic forms and configurations. The sheet is attached to a cross-shaped iron frame, or skeleton, using large magnetic buttons (Dots), aligned with four magnetic points at each light source.
Grammoluce by Studio Habits for Martinelli Luce
What if light had a weight? Martinelli Luce unveiled Grammoluce by Min Dong and Studio Habits. The innovative table lamp features a Lycra® elastic fabric that covers the borosilicate glass structure. When deformed by glass spheres placed on it, it acts as a switch and a dimmer for the lamp. Depending on the number and weight of the spheres placed on the fabric, Grammoluce changes the intensity and tone of the light emitted from a dynamic white LED source.
Splash installation by Martin Gallo for Lasvit
At Euroluce 2025, Lasvit unveiled Splash, a Bohemian glass lighting installation by Martin Gallo that delves into the emotional resonance of water and its fluid, dynamic shapes. Crafted to capture a range of emotions, the fused glass installation mirrors the ever-changing essence of water: from the tranquillity of a still pond to the exuberance of children playing in puddles, and even the force of a turbulent river.
Dusk by BIG for Artemide
BIG–Bjarke Ingels Group has created a wall washer for Artemide that captures the entire range of colours associated with various times of the day and year. Dusk brings the fluid, dynamic quality of natural light into indoor spaces. Its emission is not uniform; instead, it consists of overlapping and harmonious light spectra, mimicking the delicate tonal shifts of the sky as they transition throughout the day.
Cascade by Lee Broom for Lladró
Lladró, a global leader in artistic porcelain, introduces Cascade, its new lighting collection created in collaboration with Lee Broom. At Eruoluce, the British designer also created an installation playing with reflections and optical effects. “ I wanted to explore how light emanates through porcelain,” explained Lee Broom. “This reminded me of paper lanterns illuminated by candlelight, so I decided to create shapes and forms, incorporating these qualities in a modernist way.”
Under Pressure by Boris Klimek and Lenka Damová for Brokis
Czech lighting design firm Brokis unveiled the playful Under Pressure collection of pendant lamps created by Boris Klimek and Lenka Damová. The series illustrates the fleeting moment when hot molten glass gives in to pressure, transitioning into its final form, an embodiment of strength and fragility in one. The dynamic glass shapes seem alive, evoking organic deformation from invisible pressure, bending them. This striking visual effect is enhanced by technical elements, like a central threaded rod that penetrates the delicate glass globe, adding geometric regularity and industrial elegance.
Bolda by Kwangho Lee for Lambert & Fils
Canadian studio Lambert & Fils dives into the explosive universe of South Korean designer Kwangho Lee. The new Bolda series features polished aluminium sheets that provide a backdrop for enamelled copper plates, giving them a sculptural dimension and a unique presence sublimated by a luminous tube. Concealed light beneath the fold flows into integrated openings, highlighting edges and junctions. With large circular perforations, Bolda adapts its form based on the observer’s perspective and surrounding colours.
Cantabrina by Stefano Traverso for Italamp
Italamp introduces Cantabrina, a pendant lamp designed by Stefano Traverso. It is distinguished by an essential silhouette inspired by straw. The colour variations—from ocean blue to satin brass—suit refined hospitality and living environments. The scenic effect intensifies in the double version, ideal for corridors, kitchens, or work tables.
Cobà by David Pompa
Mexican studio David Pompa made its debut at Euroluce with the Materia México exhibition. One of the highlights is the Cobà series, which consists of stacked rings made from recycled silver, forming a striking and elaborate composition. The reflective surfaces add depth, creating a dance of luminosity and shape. These precisely crafted rings engage with light in a way that is always shifting, providing a dynamic and enchanting glow.
