Interior Design, Nestled in the Brera Design District, in the middle of Milan Design Week’s hustle and bustle, Danish furniture and home design brand Muuto created The Muuto Milan Design Apartment, which “invites visitors to awaken their senses and explore transitions and intentional spaces.” Explain Muuto.

“Inspired by the passing of a year and its seasons, we unfolded a universal rhythm through different atmospheric spaces, offering new perspectives on how design can influence daily life and well-being. Weaving together light, colour, form, texture, and scent, the exhibition reflects the feeling of changing seasons.” [Watch the video]
Every room provided a unique experience. The kitchen featured refreshing olive and light green tones that fostered a calm yet energetic atmosphere. At the heart of the space was the Linear Wood Bench dining table, accompanied by upholstered chairs. One side of the room showcased the new Midst Table by Stockholm’s TAF Studio, boasting a Dark Grey Marble tabletop.
The living room exuded a calm, reflective atmosphere characterised by muted, darker hues. A brown Connect Modular Sofa was positioned alongside a blue Doze Lounge Chair. A lively red area showcased pedestals adorned with floral arrangements celebrating the brand’s iconic U-shaped Kink vases. The lounge area, tranquil like a clear blue sky, boasted azure curtains and the In-Situ four-seater sofa.
The Looped Lamp, designed by Switzerland’s Dimitri Bähler, was also featured at The Muuto Milan Apartment. It showcased its soothing, adjustable illumination and distinctive mouth-blown glass. The exhibit also included the newly introduced Beam Table Lamp by Tom Chung, the Gaze Mirror by Phil Procter, and a selection of existing designs in fresh colours and upholstery options.

The apartment stretched out into a courtyard that showcased the company’s outdoor design collection. The interior design provided “a welcoming chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural rhythms that shape our experiences and perceptions over time.”
