Architecture is often presented as a perfect, finished product. The Practice Unfiltered exhibition by Swedish firm Olsson Lyckefors reveals the discipline’s raw aspects, displaying early sketches and incomplete ideas that shape a project’s journey. “Architecture is not a straight path; it is a journey full of challenges, surprises and discoveries. It is in these moments of uncertainty that true creativity and expertise are put to the test,” Johan Olsson and Andreas Lyckefors explain.

What is light, and how do we perceive it?” Questions Alexander Lervik. “Light is a phenomenon that occurs in the eye of the observer, just as colour only occurs when the reflection from an object reaches the eye.” The Swedish designer teamed up with Stockholm Lighting Company to develop a ‘philosophical’ exhibition that explores reflection, colour, daylight, and even darkness.”Daylight is vital for us humans, while the existence of darkness is crucial for us to be able to perceive light.”
