A giant-sized shoe comically crashes through the front window of Jimmy Choo‘s flagship store. The installation by Harry Nuriev, founder and creative director of Crosby Studios, was inspired by power, femininity and transformation.

This project explores the contrast of scale – the dialogue between the monumental and the intimate,” explains Nuriev. “It plays with supersized forms as a metaphor for power, transformation, and time. At its core lies the connection between future and past, expressed through the beauty and strength of women’s power – timeless, visionary, and deeply human.”

Cartier’s Undulating Façade by Diller Scofidio + Renfro

The Cartier flagship debuted a new façade by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, just in time for Miami Art Week. Undulating glass catches changing light, producing a gentle rhythm of motion. A delicate pattern derived from a 1909 Cartier brooch appears and fades with sunlight. The result is an inviting interplay between interior and exterior, softening boundaries with elegance. Elizabeth Diller, founding partner of DS+R, describes it as a dynamic skin “to draw in passersby while knitting together the store and the street.”

Inside, the flagship unfolds as a choreographed sequence designed by Laura Gonzalez with Diller Scofidio + Renfro, where each floor introduces a fresh tonal shift. Sunlight filters through etched glass on the bright ground level, illuminating organic forms that nod to the nearby coastline.

Coral shades blend with soft greens and muted golds, guiding visitors toward a seashell-shaped staircase lined with subtle iridescence. Gonzalez calls it “a sensory journey,” most evident in the shift from vibrant entry to serene upper rooms and the relaxed terrace above.

Bulgari’s new Miami Design District boutique glows with the warm hues of Rome and Miami sunsets, reflected in its striking orange hues. Designed by Rome-based architect Massimo Adario, in collaboration with Bulgari’s in-house team, the two-storey corner building features a double-skin façade where offset rectangular blocks cast playful shadows across large glass panels. A gradient from deep orange to soft blue evokes the cities’ vibrant dusks.

Inside, the ground floor presents jewellery, watches, perfumes, and handbags, while an upstairs salon offers an intimate entertaining space. Bright orange accents highlight products in wall niches, complemented by a circular ceiling installation of translucent acrylic batons. Palm-frond patterned floors, textured woven walls, travertine furniture, fluted columns, and brass details balance Miami’s tropical charm with the elegance of Roman heritage.

Italian artist Pietro Terzini transformed the Cassina flagship store into a site-specific installation for Miami Art Week. From the street, his handwritten message asks: “Are You In Love? No, I’m In Miami.” Witty, emotionally aware, and irreverent, the work comments on modern relationships, place, and status.

Inside, oval mirrors bear empowering messages like YOU ARE ART or NO RISK NO STORY, first shown at Milan Design Week. The installation invites introspection, perception, and playful dialogue—blending humour, intimacy, and irony into the very heart of Miami retail innovation.

Introvert Chair by Robbie Williams x Moooi at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach.

Moooi, the Dutch lifestyle design brand by Marcel Wanders, partnered with The Standard Spa in Miami Beach to transform five hotel rooms into immersive sensory suites. Each space—from furniture and carpets to wallcoverings, bath, bedding, and curated gifts—tells a distinct story. Suites include Milk and Cookies, Evergreen Dream, Electric Lounge, Earthly Delights, and Curiosity Cabinet, each enhanced with mood fragrances by EveryHuman.

The collaboration also reimagines the hotel lobby, introducing Robbie Williams’ first furniture design, the Introvert Chair. Crafted as a sculptural alcove, it offers calm within chaos, inviting quiet reflection. The piece embodies Williams’ exploration of emotion, turning a public space into a personal sanctuary and demonstrating how design can nurture both wonder and serenity.

David Yurman’s new Miami flagship transforms the boutique into a design playground for artists and jewellery lovers alike. Architect Andrea Tognon drew inspiration from the precious metals and stones in the Yurman family’s private collection, shaping the façade from a monolithic stone volume fused with metallic paint.

Inside, meticulously crafted fixtures mimic jewellery in stone finishes, while a stepped wall of vertically cut granite curves like a sculpted necklace. Iconic Cable motifs appear throughout, celebrating the brand’s signature design. Tognon’s furniture approach deconstructs objects to their essence, reimagining them in new forms, while Luce5’s lighting adds a refined glow. A both playful and reverent homage to American craftsmanship and luxury.

The Dream collection, by architect David Rockwell for the French furniture brand Roche Bobois, transformed the Maison’s Miami showroom into a sculptural, serene haven. Rounded sofas, textured coffee tables, and soft, organic rugs create a calm environment, where curves evoke weathered stone and fabrics shift with the light. The space prioritises tactile pleasure and visual rhythm, highlighting the marriage of architecture and furniture design, and exemplifying how furniture can transcend utility to become experiential art.
