Design. From September 4 to 8, Maison & Objet Fall 2025 returns to the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, ready to surprise and inspire. Known as one of the world’s leading fairs for design, decoration, and lifestyle, this year’s edition unveils a renewed format brimming with fresh ideas, bold collaborations, and events tailored to today’s creative professionals.

At the heart of the fair is WELCOME HOME, the vision of Artistic Director Amelie Pichard. A celebrated fashion designer who thrives at the crossroads of disciplines, Pichard transforms the fair into an “open house” for everyone. Expect familiar objects given unexpected roles—a window as a painting, a watering can reinvented as a vase—proving that design thrives when it dares to challenge norms.

One of the biggest highlights? The brand-new Design District. Directed by the acclaimed Hall Haus collective in collaboration with Paris Design Week Factory, this dynamic hub champions emerging talent, young brands, and experimental ideas. It’s a space where boundaries blur, new voices rise, and cross-disciplinary creativity takes centre stage.

Within the Design District, the Rising Talents Awards spotlight the German avant-garde. Six designers bring bold, future-facing ideas deeply rooted in Bauhaus and Werkbund legacies. From Friedrich Gerlach’s biotech explorations with 3D-printed materials to Gabriel Tarmassi’s organic wooden sculptures, these projects embody innovation with a cultural conscience.

Meanwhile, Future On Stage continues to shine as a launchpad for visionary entrepreneurs. Among this year’s picks: Drobe, a suitcase that transforms into a wardrobe for effortless urban travel; Yüssée, a sensory journey through tasting boxes inspired by the five senses and Chinese traditions; and Hilo, a modular furniture brand redefining compact living without a single drill.
