Design. Archipanic is a media partner of 5VIE, the vibrant design district in the beating heart of Milan Design Week 2025 (April 7-13). This year’s theme, Armonie Invisibili, delves into design as a balanced, intimate process, a hidden network of collaborations behind the finished object. “In an era of uncertainty and chaos, we find it essential to reconnect with our inner balance and establish a poetic bond with ourselves,” state Ernesta Del Cogliano and Emanuele Tessarolo, the founders of the 5VIE platform.

We selected 10 must-visit exhibitions and destinations at 5VIE 2025, starting from the district’s new epicentre, the prestigious Cavallerizze at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci [Via Olona 4, Map]. Here, American designer Misha Kahn launches Abject, a home and homeware brand emerging from his studio. Visitors enter a space draped in fabric, where chair silhouettes are constantly in flux, like a shadow puppet show. As the performance unfolds, the seats come to life.

Inspired by Mediterranean seaweeds, which need light to live, Barcelona-based duo Eliurpi presents a collection of light sculptures that play with shadows and reflections. Lebanese designer Richard Yasmine explores opulence, sensuality, and playful provocation with marble tableware, vessels, and sculptures, some adorned with stainless steel spikes and others left plain.

Bold hues, geometric shapes and glossy patterns with a contemporary Mediterranean feel take over the apartment and gallery Casaornella. Laboratorio Paravicini is a historic ceramic atelier, a magical destination for genuine crafts making. The workshop collaborated with Studio Mary Lennox to create the Jardins à l’Italienne collection. The series evokes a metaphysical atmosphere in which vegetation sheds its spontaneity to become architecture in a suspended, timeless landscape. As each plate is placed, the table transforms into a garden unfolding in delicate ceramics [Via Nerino 8, Map].
