Miami2019 – We selected some of the best images of Miami Art and Design Week including exhibition at the main fairs ArtBasel Miami – Dec. 5-8 – which debuts a new section dedicated to large scale installations and DesignMiami/ – Dec. 3-8 – which will presents stunning installations tuning with the main theme Elements: Water.
Among the most notable fairs on show also CASACOR Miami which focuses on architecture, interior design and landscaping. At the Indian Beach Park, the Pulse art fair – Dec. 5-8 – celebrates its 15th anniversary creating a mesmerizing setting among hammocks, palms and cocktails. Ink Art Fair – Dec. 4-8 – is dedicated to artworks on paper. Scope Miami Beach – Dec. 4-8 – is back with its pavilion on the sand. This year the fair proposes a holistic approach combining art with talks and music shows as well as morning wellness treatments and meditation classes. Themed The Last Supper, the second edition of the Faena Festival – Dec. 2-8 – explores spirituality and food, abundance and sacrifice, indulgence and abstinence.

During the creative week are scheduled long awaited cultural openings such as the Museum of Graffiti, the world’s largest one, and the Rubell Museum and El Espacio 23, both in the Allapattah district. Some of the city leading museums hosts special exhibitions, discover the work of Mackalene Thomas and Japanese icon Yayoi Kusama at ICA Miami and Lara Favaretto solo show at The Bass. Venture into the newly open Raleigh Garden featuring works by Les Lalanne with Peter Marino and Raymond Jungles.
