Chinese designer Zhipeng Tan has specialised in ancient melting techniques. His Dripping Console Table – available in brass and silver on 1st DIBIS – comes with organic shapes and can be customized on request.

For her Broken Things collection, London-based Italian artist Livia Marin collected broken tea cups, kettles and other ordinary objects to give them a second chance transforming them into melting tiny sculptures made of ceramic and resin. “Her work inspired me to create this selection,” says Antonella.

Azerbaijani artist Faig Ahmed goes beyond carpet making. His Doubts and Liquid artworks are traditionally crafted to about half their length. Then they transform into a fluid game, an optical illusion bringing his country’s textile heritage into the XXI Century.

French designer John Nouanesing created the Love Me table for an event. Made from hand-crafted resin, the furniture would be perfect on the set of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, thanks to its blood-dripping design.

Inspired by alchemy and the creative ability to work with materials, Brazilian artist Vanderlei Lopes created the Gold Leaking series of fused polished bronze with golden hues. Ideal for art lovers with a Midas touch. Mauro Montermini created the iconic Dali’s melting clock for Antartidee with a marble and resin collection 100% Made in Italy.

The Interior Gallery from Texas presents a quirky collection of melting ice-cream chairs completed with chocolate drops, whip cream and cherry on top.
