A dark space is filled by high cones of light that interact with visitors. An especially-composed soundtrack, mist and mirrored walls multiplies te perception of the space giving the impression of walking through a forest of light.
The installation takes place at Cinema Arti. Built in the 30s, the theatre inspired the architect who used the high ceiling to create a sectacular game of moving and operlapping geometries.

“People meander through this forest, as if lured by the charm of the light. Light and people interact with one another, its existence defining the transition of the other” says Sou Fujimoto.
“COS pavilion represents the pure expression of forest, a living and non-static environment. The synergy between guests and lights creates a link between fashion, space and the forest. As a form of architecture”.
The brand has took inspiration from Soujimoto’s work as well. “We were impressed by some of his works. We particlary liked the pavilion for 2013 Serpentine gallery that was shaped around the concept of negative space: borders blurred and faded in the surrounding environment” say at COS.
“Sou Fujimoto interpreted beautiful our aestetic” says Martin Andersson, head of COS men’s collection. “It has been a very inspiring collaboration as we never created installations based on light… And the result is just incredible” adds Karin Gustafsson, head of COS woman’s collection.
