Design. Paris Deco Off 2026 lit up the French capital as textile and wallpaper maisons unveiled their latest collections in bustling showrooms. This year, designers and brands were driven by bold, fantastical explorations. Check out what captured our attention at the so-called Fashion Week of interiors.
Timeless and radiant like a French Garden

Maison Pierre Frey unveiled Jardin à la Française, a collection inspired by French gardens, where lush vegetation meets subtle geometry. Drawing equally on contemporary creativity and exceptional archival documents, the designs feel timeless yet radiant. The palette, rhythms and motifs celebrate a distinctly French art de vivre, balancing decorative exuberance with structure, refinement and a quietly confident elegance.
Interwoven Caribbean vibes

During Paris Deco Off 2026, Lelièvre took over La Pagoda, Paris’ historic gateway to Asia since 1926, to debut its fabric and rug collections, spanning travel-inspired jacquards, sun-warmed textiles, and theatrical French hedonism. A warm breeze defines Îles du Vent, the Maison’s first indoor-outdoor line. Inspired by the Caribbean’s raw sensuality, it transports us to sunlit shores, between vibrant jungles and refined elegance.
Riding along the Silk Road

At Paris Deco Off 2026, Swiss brand Fischbacher 1819 invites a journey titled Silk Road, rooted in sustainability and exchange. Drawing on historic East–West trade routes, deserts, mountains and ancient cities become textures and patterns. Inspired by Uzbek palace wall paintings, the hand-painted Turan textile depicts women on horseback, echoing Sogdian legends that once travelled vast distances through commerce, craft and shared imagination.
Embroidered wilderness

Zebras, monkeys, snakes and toucans find refuge within the Run Amok by Milanese maison Dedar. Inspired by the mystery and gentle unease of Rousseau le Douanier’s oneiric paintings, exotic nature is stitched onto pure virgin wool, textural satin. The result is a visual labyrinth with a fluid drape, suitable for curtains and refined decorative applications alike.
Aquatic adventures

French maison Élitis dove into the depths with Écume, a collection where materials and patterns explore the ocean’s mysteries. A lush composition of gesso shells shimmer with reflections; submarine hulls wear copper and aluminium patches; sands ripple under imagined currents. Mother-of-pearl weaves sparkle, jacquards undulate like water, and towering palms surface above, extending an immersive, dreamlike seascape of poetic tactility and hushed wonder.

Finally, Métaphore takes you to the Moon. The Belle Étoile collection imagines textiles beyond Earth: clouds, aurora borealis, magnetic storms and asteroid dust animate visionary patterns and luminous compositions. The French Maison looks at our planet from the sky, with an unusual, dream-filled perspective.
