The Beam Lamp by Brussels-based studio AETHERMASS reflects a light beam fending the air. By mirror-polishing the stainless steel, it becomes elusive, much like the light it carries. The unconventional shape of the base distinguishes the object from all archetypal forms associated with a floor lamp, giving it the appearance of a sculpture rather than a lamp.

Vienna-based interdisciplinary designer Teresa Berger presents Tactile Red, a clay vase with an organic bulbous shape that invites you to touch it. Berger creates multi-sensorial, functional objects that blur the boundaries between art and design, abstraction and function.

Dutch designer Marleen Kaptein has created Parallax, a collection of chandeliers and pendant lamps bringing together dedicated craftsmanship, the wonders of nature, and state-of-the-art aerospace materials. Suspended in the air, the pieces’ carbon lines lead the design, creating a parallax that reveals something new to the viewer from every angle. The art is designed to inspire as well as illuminate, offering infinite combinations of light and shadow.

Belgian gallery Objects with Narratives presents Marcello Mirror by Brussels-based Cobra Studios. The semi-transparent mirror’s amorphous lines contrast with the multifaceted, hand-sculpted, hand-polished resin base, which resembles a rock.

Canadian artist and designer Clara Jorisch presents the Melting Glass chair to highlight the relationship between the two physical states of glass: liquid and malleable or solid and strong. It is made from an assembly of blown glass elements and ultra-clear glass plates glued with UV. Because of the material’s transparency, it always partially escapes view. Its soft and fluid shapes give the impression of melting and transforming under the effect of light.

SashaxSasha presented a collection centred on the exploration of emotions and memories. Lux Aetherna is a totemic candle holder made of brushed stainless steel. The typology of this item came from feelings of the sacred interiors and the ecclesiastical furnishings.
