Natural and soft-touch
Antoniolupi expands its Borghi collection by Gumdesign experimenting with materials and focusing on customization. The design comes with a 100% natural cork base topped by a washbasin made of Cristalmood, an ecological and clear resin developed by Antoniolupi. The top is soft to the touch and available in a range of hues inspired by the landscape of Tuscany, where the bathroom design is from.
Ceramiche Flaminia presents Spire – coils, in English – by Elena Salmistraro. Available in a range of two-tone combinations, the washbasins collection is inspired by time-frozen vortexes, smooth to the touch. “I am totally in love with ceramics. It was the first material I started to work with when I began,” explains the Italian designer. “Like a contemporary shell, the spiraling design is dynamic, yet simple and easily adaptable to multiple environments.”
A knot-like metal grip
A 1970s New York loft atmosphere inspired Angelettiruzza Design to create the East Side collection of chromed bathroom taps for CRISTINA Rubinetterie. The lever handles come with a distinctive knurling improving grip and the experience of touch.
Waffle is the first radiator designed by Piero Lissoni for Antrax IT that comes with new finishes and materials that were conceived to evoke, even by touch, the historical imagery of cast iron radiators. The design reinterprets also in the surface manufacturing process, characterized by a three-dimensional geometric texture. Waffle combines technology, energy-saving and sustainability.
