Inspired by the dawn streaming across the horizon, Glimpse expresses “an effortless balancing act,” says the brand’s creative director Nicci Green. A horizontal mouth-blown glass shade appears to levitate. Its waist ensconced in a solid brass sheath, and its full form suspended by two subtle vertical brass rods from overhead. A clear glass shade reveals the elegant, elongated light source to wondrous effect, while the option of an opaque finish achieves a subtler outcome.
The new Trilogy pendant combines heritage opulence with modern minimalism. Suspended with grace, Trilogy is “a quietly confident design” with a light source concealed within a trio of mouth-blown glass orbs. Supported by three solid brass rods that come together, Trilogy exemplifies deceptively sophisticated engineering.
Float is a collection of refined lighting informed by glamorous design cues of a bygone era and “defined by its soaring cylindrical form”. Born as an Wall Sconce which comes also as a pendant, the design features a distinct sweeping brass stem. The intricate leather detail acts as a bridge between the shade and the wall.
Glimpse, Trilogy, Float Capped and more will debut at ICFF within the brilliance of a Studio Goss designed exhibition space. Director David Goss is set to create a quiet architectural form that cleverly showcase’s the studio’s unique creations.
