Technology – As expected, at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Artificial Intelligence was ubiquitous – sometimes cleverly, sometimes redundantly. The selected innovations are all ready to hit the market this year if not already available.

Meet Ballie, Samsung’s ball-shaped lovable robot and home assistant following you around the house like a pet, Alexa on wheels, or a cute stalker. Thanks to a spatial LiDAR sensor and a 1080p projector, Ballie is able to display movies, video calls and “greetings” on its surrounding surfaces.
Volkswagen has announced the integration of ChatGPT into its vehicles equipped with the IDA Voice Assistant. The ChatGPT chatbot has mesmerized the world while unveiling the potential of artificial intelligence technology. The new AI-empowered IDA voice assistant offers a multitude of new capabilities that go far beyond the previous voice control. For example, it can be used to control the infotainment, navigation, and air conditioning or to answer general knowledge questions.
Cappella presents an AI-powered parenting app able to record, analyze and translate a baby’s cry to tell you whether it’s hungry, uncomfortable, tired or in need of a diaper change. Already available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app uses AI and machine learning to decipher an infant’s needs. On top of that, it can track sleep, feedings and diaper changes… and also uses “AI-generated sounds to soothe your little one without requiring your constant attention,” Cappella’s site says.
SeerGrills has presented the Perfecta smart grill, harnessing AI to cook the perfect steak. The unusual vertical infrared oven reaches temps over 1,000 degrees and cooks thick steaks and chops in minutes. Meat, fish, vegetable or pizza… “Tell it what you want and how you want it, and enjoy a perfectly cooked meal in minutes.” The Perfecta has a dual vertical infrared burner system that cooks food quickly and evenly. The AI system monitors the cooking process and adjusts the heat accordingly, so you don’t have to worry about overcooking or undercooking your food.
The new Oclean Ultra X Wi-Fi Digital toothbrush literally talks through your skeleton to help you improve your brushing technique in real-time. An AI voice guide uses bone-conduction technology to let you know if you’re applying too much pressure or focusing too much time on one side of your mouth or the other, all through spoken directions that only you can hear.
