It’s not easy to combine a local boutique style with a contemporary feel. Designing Fhra Hair Salon, Simone Subissati Studio managed to do that by balancing volumes and lines and keeping up with an on-street level perspective.

One side, the salon is characterized by three-dimensionality: a one-piece sculptural wooden structure hosts a workstation, cupboards and some shelves.

On the other side a minimal iron structure supports a  long wooden shelf with drawers and holds a mirror that extends all along the wall.

Simone Subissati said “Fhra hair-styling salon is based in Ancona, Italy, and takes inspiration by the interior design of a local atelier studio, The project includes two different and parallel structures that interact with each-other creating a contemporary space“.

Lights are designed in order to enhance the perspective principles that define the project. Simone Subissati Studio designed all furnitures and complements as well: the floor lamp, the seatings, the carpet that takes inspiration by a gearwheel and the small table with screwed legs.
