A subtropical forest within the Belgian pavilion ‘controls’ irrigation, lighting, and ventilation systems to purify the air and lower the temperature. The Building Biospheres exhibition investigates the potential of plants in architecture.

LUMA Arles shimmering tower by Frank Gehry set to open in June

Frank Gehry is completing a twisting geometric tower at the heart of the LUMA Arles creative campus in southern France. Clad with 11.000 stainless steel panels, the building takes inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ masterpiece.
