At the fair, Neri&Hu’s Unfolded Village raises international awareness on the disappearance of Chinese traditional villages while Anderssen & Voll’s Design Bar blends Nordic and Japanese aesthetics. The Greenhouse platform celebrated Nordic and internationals talents.

In town, Note Design Studio explores Tarketts flooring materials potential with the Snowtopped installation. Lee Broom presented an exclusive window concept for luxury department store NK Stockholm while Claesson Koivisto Rune inaugurated the ‘mischievous’ Portal bar.


Among the best launches Northern‘s second furniture home accessories and lighting design collection, Bolon’s Diversity new surface designs celebrating the Swedish company 70th anniversary and Jasper Morrison’s informal tableware for Iittala.

3 brilliant chair designs shone: Snøhetta’s S-1500 is upcycled from discarded fishnets from the Arctic fishing industry. Artek launched the Atelier Chair, originally designed for the recently re-opened National Museum.

Färg & Blanche presented Mr N, inspired by the studio co-founder Emma Marga Blanche’s grand father, Mr. Mr Neil Westerdahl. The seat debuted at The Baker’s House installation which showcases new designs inspired by the family heritage.
