
CES 2019 – Netatmo, the leading smart home company for a safer and more comfortable home, launched the Smart Video Doorbell, a mobile-connected device which makes a video call on your smartphone so that you can see who’s ringing and welcome guests while preparing dinner, turn away salespeople, respond remotely if you are on holiday or tell the delivery person where to leave a package while your are at the office.

The Internet of Things doorbell features a 160-degree field of view, infrared night vision and person detection. It shoots 1080p HDR footage which can be saved on a microSD slot or transferred to a Dropbox account or another server. The IoT device works with Apple’s HomeKit system, as well as Android and web applications.
With its compact and elegant design, the device fits perfectly at the entrance to any home and is fully resistant to all weather conditions – rain, snow and humidity – as well as dust and dirt.

The Smart Video Doorbell warns you in real time if someone is lurking around the front of their home. A precise ‘Person detected’ notification is received on their smartphone and a video of the event is record ed. Using the built-in microphone and speaker, you can speak to the intruders and deter them from approaching or breaking in.
