The collection’s abstracted shades are networked via connecting cords. A set of pullies and weights balances the pendants. The result is a playful collage that enable flexible positioning and turns upside down traditional notions of symmetry in favor of a dynamic spatial harmony.
Presented at ICFF New York design fair, Shape Up lighting series allows the shapes to be suspended and composed in response to a space’s architecture and function.
Ladies & Gentlemen studio is a Seattle-based studio founded by Dylan Davis & Jean Lee in 2010. The designers say: “Our playful explorations in materiality blends our curiosity with the desire to find unexpected pairings of material and function”.
Founded in 2010, Roll & Hill collaborates with some of the most exciting independent designers working today to create a collection of beautiful and unique lighting fixtures.
