DESIGN BOX – At the 2024 Stockholm Furniture Fair, Swedish office furniture manufacturer Edsbyn launched Reform, a colourful shelf system with more than an eye on sustainability. Designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune.

“The beautiful grids in the facades of skyscrapers have inspired Reform, a new shelf system that challenges your creativity.” Explained Klaesson Koivisto Rune. “Reform consists of a square and a rectangular unit that can be combined freely on a wall or as free-standing furniture on the floor, with or without a door front, and with an open or closed backside.”

Manufactured in the city of Edsbyn, Sweden, the Reform collection is made out of leftover materials that are collected from the production of different furniture collections. “A smart and circular product that will gain new life with every user and every room,” explained the designers.

The Swedish architecture studio Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in 1995 by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. It is an internationally renowned practice working with architecture and design. The first Swedish firm to exhibit in the international section of the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2004, it is responsible for award-winning projects such as the K5 hotel and multi-purpose building in Tokyo.
