The decorative texture was achieved by working high thicknesses of marble with a water-jet cutting technology; aesthetics based on the spontaneous beauty of imperfection, irregularity of rhythm, and of randomness.
PLISSE’ was born in with a Carrara marble and then realized in Flumood®, a cutting-edge ductile and easy-to-wash material composed, for the most part, from aluminum hydroxide and synthetic resins with low styrene content.
The use of the Antonio Lupi-patented material has allowed the creation of the conditions to obtain a result with a strong three dimensional graphic impact, recreating those thin pleats in a new and delicate balance, new aesthetics characterized by the incomparable details of Flumood and deliberately made imperfect by the syncopated rhythm.
