Spanish designer Martín Azúa presents Light Container: a mass of light inside in nested in a metallic basket that almost seems floating. “Light is immaterial, but lamps are objects. In this case we treat light as something with weight and volume” comments the designer.

The Barcelona based design studio created a lamp made with painted iron frame and blown glass lampshade that comes in three different sizes so that they can be hung individually or grouped in small bunches. 

The glass diffuser generates a nice warm dim light with soft shadows, suitable for restaurant tables, counters, receptions, meeting and working tables. Its sculptural character allows the personalization of singular halls, stairwells. Light Conainter is a  limited edition projects, all the 5.000 pieces are numbered and signed.
