CES 2019 – At the Consumer Electronics Show, Korean tech giant LG Electronics unveiled the world’s first rollable OLED TV defining next generation of televisions thanks to the company’s industry-leading OLED technology. The revolutionary innovation seems to defy logic with a display that appears when you need it and scrolls into a box when you don’t. Three different modes let users decide the size of the screen.

TVs come in the shape of a silent black rectangle which dominates the room even when the not in use. The new rollable OLED TV was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible to allow you to redefine space through its ability to rise and roll-up.

On top of that, it can transform itself to offer three different viewing options. When in Full View mode, it delivers a large-screen revealing the full extent of the contrast, depth and realism of LG technology.

The rollable OLED TV features also AI picture and sound quality powered by LG’s second generation intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm. To get things done, speak up with Amazon Alexa or Siri.

When in Line View mode the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R is partially unrolled, allowing for management of specific tasks that do not require the full TV screen. Choose from features such as Music and Home Dashboard.

Invoke Clock mode to check the time and weather at a glance or Frame mode to enjoy family photos shared from a smartphone or Mood mode to create a more relaxing atmosphere.

When in Zero View, all 65 inches of the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R are hidden from view, tucked away in its base. Even in Zero View, you can enjoy music and other audio content which emanate from the 4.2-channel, 100W front-firing Dolby Atmos audio system. The premium bloodline is clearly evident in the entire unit, from the brushed aluminum casing to the quality wool speaker cover designed by Kvadrat of Denmark.
