Design, Technology. At CES 2025, Chinese technology brand Lenovo has presented the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, the world’s first personal computer with a rollable display. First showcased two years ago in Las Vegas, the company developed the rollable design concept into a product ready for sale this June.

With a single button press, the 14-inch landscape display extends upwards of 16.7 inches. The magic trick is also triggered by holding your palm out in front of the device and raising or lowering it to activate the display. Users gain nearly 50% additional screen space in a portable form factor, making it ideal for business users who need flexibility and efficiency on the go.

This rollable feature allows users to modify the screen size based on their tasks, whether editing documents, analysing data, or presenting. It is all within an ultra-slim laptop design that weighs merely 1.7kg.

The rollable display combines the portability of a conventional laptop with the increased workspace of a larger device. Lenovo’s proprietary ThinkBook Workspace feature enhances user experience by enabling split-screen functionality and offering dedicated widgets for easy access to frequently used apps and tools.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6, featuring a unique vertical laptop screen experience, also promotes improved posture and reduces strain for professionals working long hours.

This Copilot+ PC is equipped with AI-enabled features, such as Lenovo AI Now and Cocreator from Paint, designed to boost user productivity and creativity. The laptop merges powerful on-device intelligence with cloud capabilities to enhance productivity whenever and wherever users require it.

Lenovo AI now functions as a smart assistant, streamlining workflows and providing personalised task suggestions. Copilot+ PCs offer advanced generative AI capabilities, assisting with tasks ranging from content creation to data processing. These AI features enable users to manage demanding tasks efficiently, even offline.
