When the water tap goes Bauhaus

Italian design brand Rubinetterie Treemmehas launched Watertube a Bauhaus-looking tap created by Massimiliano Braconi. Essential curvy lines inspired by a water-hose seem to respond to the Less is More iconic motto. Watertube is available in PVD finishings.
Colourful ‘kinda see-through’ modular design

Stefan Diez’s RGB furniture collection for German company burgbad features semi-transparent coloured glass and a flexible, easy-to-install fastening system opening up new design solutions for the bathroom and beyond. The collection’s transparency tunes all with the existing architecture. Tiles, wallpaper, tiled walls, as well as their color or pattern become part of the series’ design concept. Read more…
Architectural radiators

Italian design company Tubes has launched Alberto Meda’s Step by Step, a new collection of radiators with a distinct architectural presence. An aluminium module with a surface made of pleated elliptical elements, tilting towards the left or the right, “creating “charming games of light and visual effects”.
Modernist architecture-inspired design

The new Equal collection by Claudio Bellini for VitrA makes use of geometric shapes and monochrome hues inspired by modernist architecture. Sleek metal rails frame many pieces of the collection which features a mirror with integrated LED lighting, a selection of storage and washbasin units, and a wall-hung WC.
A ‘petit’ design solution for tiny guests’ bathrooms

Piccolo Novo is a functional design solution for the tiniest bathrooms such as guests’ restrooms and tiny studios. Launched by Alape, the design is the re-edition of a 1997 design classic and it is available as a simple wall basin or a basin on a shelf equipped with a towel rack. The tap is made from a 3mm thick steel filigree.
New-classic bathroom design is back

Marcel Wanders has designed the New Classic collection for Swiss bathroom maker Laufen which includes washstands, washbasin bowls, toilets, a bidet and bathtub, faucets, mirrors and accessories, as well as furniture and has already won the iF Design Award 2019. Soft, gentle feminine curves reminiscent of the opening sepals of a flower, encounter angular, masculine elements.
