Stockholm 2017 – NOTE Design Studio expands Figurine furniture series for Swedish design brand Fogia. The humble collection comprising chairs, bar stools and tables was “designed not to take up all that much space aesthetically, but just be there for every day use” say at NOTE Design Studio to ArchiPanic.

The Figurine range refers to a “modest” hype-free and down-to-earth attitude that translates into “neat and functional design withstanding fickle trends and changes in tastes”. The shape of the table thatcomes in six different colours is made of oak veneer with legs in solid oak.
The design expresses a complicated simplicity with geometric forms. Round legs turn oval where they meet a rectangular tabletop. Simplicity and elegant details highlight a feeling of craftsmanship, sturdiness and stability.
The new bar stools together with the table and the chair create a cohesive yet unassuming look at home. Available both in chair height and adapted for the kitchen, the designs are constructed in the same manner as the Figurine chair, with a molded seat and legs in solid oak.
“A harmonious character with a welcoming charm”, is how NOTE Design Studio would describe Figurine collection if it were a person. The new family of wooden furniture comes flatpack and features a distinct Scandinavian imprint: down to earth design without unnecessary details, sustainable furniture resistant to trends and tastes.
At Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair, NOTE Design Studio created also the Design Bar, a cross between an exhibition and a world-class restaurant blending Italian and Swedish cuisine.
The color scheme ranges from light pink to deep burgundy and features several design elements in order to create a warm, inspirational and generous experience.
