“Branding was originally used by farmer’s to distinguish their livestock from one another, hence using a brand mark. Throughout the years the interpretation of this term has changed. Nowadays branding is closely associated with marketing and commercial positioning of products and services”.


From this reflections, young designer Jeroen van Leur from Amsterdam designed IRONIC, a playful T-shirt that throws back to the original essence of what branding used to be, while showing that the function has changed just a little over time! We wonder… Did we become the livestock?!?
