The installation by NOSIGNER™ with lighting effects by Izumi Okayasu is composed by Dragontrail, AGC ultimate high-tech glass. Superstudio visitors are surrounded with iridescent effects and ethereal reflections.
“Amorphous replicates the molecular structure of glass magnifying the atoms a billion times thanks to thin and strong Dragontrail fragments” Says to ArchiPanic Eisuke Tachinawa, president of NOSIGNER™.
“The forms exhibited here shed new light on the genuine beauty of nature. Indeed they are not the products of the designers’ imaginations, but elaborate recreations of the marvelous crystallization processes that actually take place inside glass molecules”.

Beside the WOW effect, AGC introduces several unique glass products including the high-performative Dragontrail that is mainly used for iPhones and tablets. Superthin, 8 times stronger and more flexible. These features make the glass more resistant to impacts which means overtaking the Achilles’ heel of smartphones: easy cracking.
“With the Amorphous installation we aim to promote our glass products to all professionals and especially to industrial and product designers. We would like them to recognize the vast possibilities of what glass can do, and use it in their projects” say at AGC to ArchiPanic.
“There is a stereotyped idea that glass needs to be handled with care because it breaks. Our novel glass provides us with greater safety and we anticipate that its applications will expand greatly in the future”.
The whole exhibition is conceived like a Museum of Glass and features also a section that encapsulates many of the wonders of glass. Amorphous will be on show until the 17th of April at Superdesign Show, Superstudio event in via Tortona 27.
