At Maison Objet 2015, Kartell blended industrial design and perfumery with Kartell Fragrances, a collection of parfums pour “home” born from the collaboration of the Italian brand, designer Ferruccio Laviani and extraordinary expert noses of some of the best essential perfume houses in the world. The collection features 8 perfumes and comes in colourful candles, home sprays, electronic devices with capsules and diffusers, for a total of almost 70 combinations.

The series of fragrant designs in flame-proof plastic and black high-tech fibre are defined by plasticity of the lines, luminosity of the colours and porosity. “This is how the objects which can encapsulate fragrances may yet also release them by inventing new ways of expression and the re-interpretation of innovative user- friendly technologies” say at Kartell.

DICE is an ideal dice-shaped scented candle sculpted with softly rounded edges. Flat sides reveal circular geometries and luminosity. Reminiscent of  ancient oriental rituals NIKKO candle comes with  a cap to preserve the fragrance over time.

The generous proportion of OYSTER candle bring to mind lacquered Japanese Bento boxes. With its smooth surfaces and softed corners it reflects light and colours in a uniquely  charming manner.

Shaped like a bell and finely worked, CACHE CACHE home diffuser reminds of rituals and meditation. Solid and transparent resin enhances a particularly exquisite texture.

With MING MING, Kartell  Fragrances made the sticks invisible by integrating them into an elegant peas with sinuous and classical lines. Indeed, the home diffuser releases the perfume form its porous texture.

VOGUE resembles a new planet in the firmament of home fragrances. The perfume is elegantly released from its core through its extraordinary multi-circular texture.

POP-UP is an electronic fragrance diffuser with a playful attitude. It is possible to create your desired volumes and geometries moving stacked rings of the same in diameter around an outer longitudinal axis. The more rings you move and open, the stronger will be your perfume perception.

The olfactory palette expresses a classical style, tradition and richness of content but also irony and a certain allure. The collection features crystalline, oneiric and dreamy creations, some with an innovative touch, others more classical.
